2. Annual General Meeting – Postponed

The A.G.M. due to be held in the offices of the S.P.K. at POSK, King Street, Hammersmith in London on 10 April 2005 has had to be postponed. Please remind all interested and those that may not have received individual invitations for this meeting. The Committee extends a cordial invitation and encourages representatives of Clubs and sports organisers who are interested in the development and organisation of Polish sport in the U.K. and who may not have had the opportunity to join the Association to date to attend. We remind you that membership of the Association is open to all sports Clubs and circles that organise sports for Polish people and persons of Polish ancestry residing permanently in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (resident for a minimum of one year).

3. Polish UK Football Championship for the S.P.K. General Anders Cup – Sunday 29 May 2005

The Tournament will be held on the pitches at the Polish Association at Church Lane, Stoke Poges, Slough. Last years winners are asked to return the Tournament Cups to the organisers for the day of the tournament – as follows: K.S. Varsovia – London – SPK General Anders Cup. K.S. Blyskawica – Swindon – General Glabisz Cup. K.S. Gryf – Slough – Polish Parchutists Cup. Applications for this year’s tournament by telephone to the ZPKS secretary, giving names and contact details. Application forms will be sent by post or may be obtained from our Web Site.

4. XII World Polonia Summer Sports Championships

These championships will be held in Warsaw this year. The base will be at the SGGW Campus in Warsaw, in the Ursynów district, on Nowoursynowska Road. See ZPKS – SLIP XII Newsletter 1.

5. Z.P.K.S. Table tennis championships

Following the success of this tournament held last year at the Guinness T.T.C. in Park Royal, London the Committee proposes to repeat this in september of this year.
